Abstract
Expected geological situation enforces to change the position of a valve cavern during construction of a pressure tunnel. With the help of the finite element method a predesign of permanent support is carried out. During construction stage a different geological situation leads to unforecasted displacements. However, a certain change of the model input parameter confirms measured data and the designed permanent support.
