title = "Evanescent field waveguide particle detector: Simulations concerning size and shape dependence",
abstract = "Evanescent field particle scattering is a promising tool for single particle detection. Here we performed a detailed analysis to predict feasibility, potential and limitations of this sensing mechanism. First results from analytic estimations as well as 2D-simulations predict the feasibility of single particle detection but also a highly non-trivial dependence of the signals on size, shape and number of particles.",
