The risk management in small and medium enterprises: Its meaning and expectations (comparison between Austria and Slovakia)

Abstract

Risk and entrepreneurial activities are linked together. The other expression can be identification of activities/decisions that maximize benefit to acceptable risk level. In the paper are presented results of the empirical research. The research focused on the status of implementation, know-how and future expectations in risk management of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Slovakia and Austria. The achieved results are compared and commented. In the conclusion there is an interpretation of results and formulated findings for theory and practice.
