The request for enantiopure compounds is ubiquitous present in all areas of white, red and green biotechnology. Concomitant to the current research in biocatalysis and asymmetric synthesis at the institute, the determination of the enantiopurity of the respective chiral compounds is essential. HPLC and GC have proven to be highly efficient analytical tools for this purpose.
