Modelling of Heat Transfer

The research in this area is focused on the modeling of the heat transfer in subcooled boiling flow. All the proposed model approaches are developed based on convective boiling flow experiments which are carried out on a specially designed test facility. The proposed models are further tested in commercial CFD software. The hereby performed test simulations are intended to check the predictive capability as well as the robustness and the numerical stability of the newly introduced boiling models.
