Partial Discharge Diagnostics

For the evaluation of insulation systems of electrical resources partial discharges represent an important research area. The broad spectrum of pre-discharges in insulation systems can be detected, analyzed and assigned by different instrumentation and dataanalytic procedures. On one side optical techniques are developed, on the other side a multiplicity of measuring information of characteristic electricalphysical processes in the resource are assigned, to form a statement about the status and the future behavior of the resource
