Abstract

Based on already realized innovative building of tomorrow projects (Linz, Makartstraße and Graz, Dieselweg) these key- and lighthouse-projects should be further developed, optimized, perfected and go into production. By the advancement of building technology for pre-fabricated façade modules and external innovative modules for up to four-storey buildings, it will be possible in the future to retrofit a great number of buildings to a high standard and also economically. The façade modules on the one hand contain traditional rear-ventilations and on the other hand energy producing active elements (“plus” energy producer) like solar thermal collectors and photovoltaic power modules. In this way the quantity and the position can be adjusted and optimized according to the given situation (Zero-Energy or Plus-Energy). Innovative modules will be developed to different standards with the help of a skilled producer of building technologies and externally mounted without any framework.
